thought i better start a new thread  after 13 hours of hard labour my girl finally has 9 healthy white babies. didnt get my silver but after watching her exhausted and doing so well it really doesnt matter. mum and babies very well and tired. the last 4 kittens came at 15 minutes intervals. this is going to cost a fortune feeding this lot at weaning time.
shouldnt be a surprise at the huge litter, she had 9 kittens before and when i went to choose my girl ( rather she chose me), she was one kitten out of 13. at last i can get some sleep. this is the last litter for her ( being neutered) and the last for me for this year. :D

Pleased for you that all the kittens arrived safe and well. It may help to top the kittens up and make sure the mum has more food than she needs,it is a big litter to cope with. Penny :D

i think it took so long to have the kittens as the first 4 were breech but the other 5 came very quickly being head first.
vet as been out to check mum and kittens and alls well. she is eating loads of rc queen biscuits, kitten biscuits and whiskas kitten wet food ( 12 pouches a day). luckily i only need to find homes for 2 of them as i had people waiting for the others.
i think its great people wait a year to get what they wish for and i havent had to let anybody down. i will have to top up the 3 bigger kittens as the tiny ones wont get any milk.
hope everybody else has a successful delivery and kittens are all ok. :D

Congratulations Angelgirl - I bet you're glad all that's over with, all you have to do now is feed them :D
Bet it feels like you're living in a zoo :!:
