Dexter really chews and bites his front claws, sometimes it looks as if he is trying to pull them off :lol: :?
Is this normal kitten behaviour :?:

I have a couple of girls who do it why I do not know but doesnt seem to bother them.

Can't say as I've noticed mine doing that. Perhaps it's the sensation of their claws growing, like us with our nails :?

I wonder if its a tonkinese thing, 2 of my tonks do that none of the others :? Dexter is half tonkinese isnt he Em :?

Yes he is Veejay - that's interesting, perhaps it has something to do with it :?
I'm actually a bit worried about him today, not connected with the claw biting. He is really subdued, not like him at all, and has slept virtually all day with no playing. I hope he is better tomorrow :(

hi em. not sure on the claw chewing but with dexter sleeping all day is possible the GA he had. im sure he will be better tomorrow. sometimes it takes afew days to get out their system. :D

Thanks angelgirl :) Well I was worrying about nothing as usual :lol: Dex is a complete loon this evening, glad to see he has his energy back albeit at bedtime :lol: I think you are right, the GA had a delayed effect bless him :roll:

It takes approximately 3 days to clear the system as with humans.who usually find they feel ok once they initially come round after an op but feel a bit rough a couple of days later. Penny :D
