4 teaspoons of vinegar to a gallon of drinking water is said to prevent fleas in cats. Adjust to the amount of water given.

I've never heard of that one, although have heard feeding your pets garlic tablets does the same thing - not sure how true it is thought :)

I am going to give it a try I would think it may make the skin acidy to fleas. Don't know.
I,m not sure about Garlic for cats, it is ok for dogs my mother always used it . Her dog never had fleas.

Hi Penny :)

Do you mean mixing this up and giving as drinking water to the cat? And can it be any vinegar?
I would like to try this myself too :D But my computer is playing up and I can't read the link properly :roll:

I have taken this from another forum I belong too and as far as I can see it is normal everyday malt vinegar they are talking about. evidently someone uses apple vinegar for their rabbits However I have never tried this and only passing on information. this time so proceed with caution. I don't want someones cat dropping dead. I'll check it out further. Yes it means placing it in the drinking water.. Penny :D
