RE; the declawing of cats, i read on facebook that Craig Busch [ the lion man] had his lions declawed to protect his workers, i used to love that programme, but now it sickens me to think that he had that done
I wrote a post saying so, but it was deleted very quickly,
There is a petition going on to get him back on the programme as there was some problem with his mother, and he has a massive following
I am so disappointed that the poor lions had to go through that

According to the media coverage he aquired a lot of debt running the zoo his mother basically took it over and kept him out, employing a new head zoo keeper. the series if you read up on it has bought him a lot of problems
Penny :D

I think him and his people should just accept the risk they may get mauled as lions are wild animals after all - it is the humans choice to work with them, why should the lions suffer :x
It came to light yesterday that a zoo near to me acquired their tigers from a circus on the agreement that any cubs born would be given back to said circus - there has been local uproar as you can imagine :(
I think sometimes people working in these places think of themselves a little too much over and above the animals :?
Em x
