my bank balance would look healthier if i didnt breed cats. with the cost of cat food, vets etc and raising a litter of kittens im lucky if i have any money left to spend on myself. when people say you must be making money i laugh and say no im broke just so people can have a wonderful kitten.

Mine too. I was actually thinking about retiring from breeding as it is so much of a time and financial drain, not to mention all the animal cruelty one hears about which worries me no end. Then these little ones came along. Penny :D

it is a big worry. first you worry about mum in labour then spend the next 13 weeks worried about the stages of kittens. when they go to new homes you miss them so much.
now my kittens are a week old tomorrow i have looked at them and found all 3 to be girls. ive waited for a girl for 2 years and now have pick of the litter. they have doubled in weight and alls going to plan. just hope it continues and the vaccinations go smoothly. :D
