yes silver kitten is fine. i always thought if another was born a day or 2 later it would be stillborn. he/she is quite a big kitten so im wondering how the vet missed it. se was scanned aswell so after 9 kittens was born i went and had a cup of coffee (yes another one) definitely keeping this kitten. she had a silver in her last litter and when i saw how beautiful he was at 6 months old i regretted selling him so this one is mine. :D mum is more happier feeding the babies now. anoter one to top up.

What a lovely surprise!!!  Think you can forgive the vet for not getting it right, must be difficult counting kittens when inside Mum!!
Your girl kept the best until last, but she was SO knackered after giving birth to NINE babies, that she just had to have a good rest before having kitten number TEN, the Silver girl that you have been praying for!!!
My Oriental Spotted girl once had five kittens through the night & I was sure there were no more to come, so I went & did my supermarket shopping in the morning. When I was checking the kittens upon my return, I thought 'I was sure this Black kitten had a kink in its tail!', then I notice that there were now 6 kittens!!!

Well done to you both. It is quite amazing what can happen and how the vets do not know everything. Its great you have a little keeper.

ah bless. those 10 puppies are sooo cute. must say i had to chuckle as 4 of my newborn mainecoon kittens are the same size as these pups. this is a wonderful photo. ive tried to take a photo but as my girl is white it just looks like shes a big mountain with a silver smudge. lets hope i can line them up in a few weeks and try again. so happy i have my silver, not sure if male or female but he/she is going to be my pampered pet so it doesnt matter. if good enough i would love to show him/her but not too worried about this yet. :D

Look forward to the pics. I took 80 pics a couple of days ago and not one good one. I'll try again over the week-end. Penny :D

My girl is in early labour, she is very restless, and at the moment i am sitting in front of her,had to move her box she is in near me,or else she follows me around, she must have started early on,as i woke up at 6-45 and she was already restless, and miaowing :)
Will update when kittens are born, :)
